Kaylee Jacobson joined Schoonover and Moriarty in September 2025 as our newest Associate Attorney. In practicing government contracts law, she works with a wide array of clients and interfaces with all kinds of businesses. She enjoys learning about the various cutting-edge industries our clients work in as well as how to best represent small businesses in the federal government contracting space.
She enjoys the government contract space because the practice area is dynamic – combining elements of transactional work and litigation.
She was a Law Clerk for a personal injury law firm for two years throughout law school and was also the Government Relations Intern at the National Automatic Merchandising Association in Washington D.C. in 2021. During law school, she was active with the UMKC Law Review both as an Articles Editor and a Staff Member.
Outside of work, Kaylee enjoys baking (especially birthday cakes!), staying active, traveling, trying new restaurants, participating in seasonal activities and hanging out with her friends and her dog, Jax.
